The student’s focus during learning shifts constantly. At the moment, the ActivBoard is primarily a tool for large group sharing. Like the white board, it also serves as a surface for one-on-one tutorials and small group collaboration and sharing. It is accessible to students and the five individual computers in the classroom have ActivInspire software installed so students could prepare their own flipcharts for presentation. That is something I have not done yet, but need to encourage.
